Histology has always been a strenuous task for medical students, the primary reason being that the information required for essential preparation being scattered among various atlases and manuals. That's why we decided to combine the comforts modern technology has to offer with the time tested skills of understanding histological specimens. Coded and designed by Amal Babu, student of 2k15 MBBS, Govt Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Histolearn is a user— friendly app that presents the core info under 3 headings. > Slide: provides a good photomicrograph of the specimen. > Diagram: provides correct diagram which is neatly labelled and accurately drawn. > Info: provides necessary information on the slide which acts as a quick referral system before exams. Further highlights: 1. Easy to use and simple to understand. 2. Slides have been numbered as per the lab manual of GMCT. 3. Slides and diagrams can be zoomed for better viewing. 4. Revision feature with mark for review option. Although we have taken our best efforts to ensure that this application is accurate and reliable to the best of our knowledge, there may be errors that have been overlooked.
