ቅዱስ ከመቶ 25% የአምላክ ንግግር፣ ከመቶ 25 % የነብያት ንግግር እና ከመቶ 50 % የታሪክ ጽሐፍያን ንግግር ይዟል።
በካቶሊክ ቤተክርስቲያን እምነት መሰረት ከ66ቱ መጽሐፍት በተጨማሪ የተካተቱ የተወሰኑ መጽሐፍት ሲኖሩ፣ በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን እነዚህ ተጨማሪ መጻሕፍት (ዲዩቴሮካኖኒካል በመባልም ይታወቃሉ) በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ውስጥ የተካተቱትን መጻሕፍት ቁጥር ወደ 81
ያደርሱታል።
የመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ልዩ ባህርያት
መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ የስነምግባር ጉዳዮችን በሚመለከት መመሪያ የሚሰጥ ከመሆኑም ሌላ እንደ ወንጀል፣ ረሃብና የአካባቢ መበከል ያሉት ችግሮች ለአንዴና ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ መፍትሔ የሚያገኙበትን መንገድ ይገልጻል። ችግሩ ግን፣ መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ እነዚህን ጉዳዮች አስመልክቶ የሚናገረውን ነገር

መሆኑንና መልእክቱም አምላክ በመንፈስ አነሳሽነት ያስጻፈው እንደሆነ ያምኑ ነበር።
ኢትዮጵያ ቋንቋ በሆነው በአማርኛ የተዘጋጀውን መጽሐፍ ቅዱስ በኢንተርኔት ሲያቀርብ ደስታና ኩራት ይሰማዋል።
